DURABLE & REFLECTIVE In addition to long-lasting LED bulbs, our MUTCD compliant sign features 3M High Intensity Grade Prismatic Reflective Sheeting which works effectively, whether dawn or dusk. Heavy-duty aluminum signs are tough and durable for 10+ years outdoors.

ERGONOMIC HANDLE Foam padded grip handle and lightweight design increases comfort and fights operator fatigue. The 12" stop paddle is approximately 1.2 lbs which is much less than other paddles available in market. Handle is 5 13/16" in length with a 4" foam piece.

HARD TO MISS Each sign face has LED lights within the STOP text. 45 LED bulbs per side, and is visible over 1 mile away. Now you can keep traffic in control easily.

TWO LIGHTING MODES Sign operates in a flashing LED light mode and a steady LED light. Each sign face is equipped with it's own power button. Pressing the button once operates the flashing light, pressing it twice operates the steady light. AUTOMATIC TILT SHUT OFF function turns LED lights off when pointed toward ground to save energy.

PACK CONTENTS 12 x 12 inch red and black octagon Paddle comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery, charger and lanyard. The sign will last 3 hours on the steady LED light or 12 hours on a flashing LED light.

I received this 18" stop sign two weeks ago. When I opened the shipping carton I noticed right away that the supplier product carton had already been opened. The packing tape on four sides of the supplier carton were cut. My first thought was that I was sent a sign that had been returned to the supplier. Oh well......let's give it a try.The first thing I did was insert the battery to see if the sign lit up first with flashing and then with continuous. Both sides worked. Then I charged the battery. It took 2 3/4 hours for it to charge completely.Next I inserted the battery, turned both sides on the continuous mode and then let the sign stay on. After three hours both sides were still lit as bright as when first turned on. At 4 hours still lit but not quite as bright. Same for 5 hours. At 6 hours both sides were still lit. Dim but still lit and readable. I shut off both sides after the 6 hours and charged the battery again. Charging took 2 1/2 hours.I used the sign last night for crossing guard duty. Turned on both sides in the flashing mode. Used it for 2 1/2 hours that way. Worked fine without any problems. I received many positive comments from people about how the flashing sign was so bright and visible and that they had never seen a stop sign like it.I'm going to be using it again tonight at the same location.I charged the battery again this morning and it took about 45 minutes to charge completely.As far as I'm concerned this sign is a great tool for nighttime usage.I contacted the supplier today and asked them if this sign is waterproof or water repellent. The reply I received was "Our website says this item has great resistance against water and chemicals."From my brief usage of this sign I highly recommend it and certainly hope it continues to work as expected.
