I don't usually have much luck with battery powered tools, but the battery of this trimmer is very powerful and I wear out before it does. This trimmer has easily cut through overgrown honeysuckle vines, native blackberry canes and wild roses without bogging down at all. There are several safeties built into the grip and trigger to prevent accidental starts which are easy to use and much appreciated by someone who cut through the electrical cord on his last trimmer. That's not a problem with this trimmer. It is a little heavy with the battery, so trimming high vines one-handed can be taxing, but it is possible. This is my go-to tool for a lot of yard work.
