i use the 52v 20ah for my bomber build and im happy with it. when i first purchased this battery i took me a while to build up my bike so when i finally got around to use it i was about 3 months in. on my second ride the battery started to cut power way too early in my ride and when i went to charge it it would not charge. i come from an electronics background so i decided to take it apart to inspect and test with a volt meter. i thought since it was already after the month that amazon allows returns that i was screwed and wouldnt be able to get a replacement. i found that there was one cell in the pack that appeared to be leaking and that one group that the cell was apart of was not holding a charge. i reached out to upp and they were able to send me out a new one after i provided pictures of the cells and the meter readings.ive been using the replacement for about 5 months now with no problems. and since they didnt ask to send the defective one back i removed all the cells and now have extras. i dont have the equipment to build batteries but i did use 16 of them for a power bank i purchased off ebay and i use that for power to my lights.UPP really surprised me with their customer service and prompt communication. something went wrong and they made it right.Has held up well for a year now - no problems - I use it to power a 48v1000w ebike motor - gives me a (throttle only) top speed of 32 mph with about a 30 mile range (with pedal assist and/or lower speed range can double) - Only problem is figuring out where to mount it on bike - I bolted a Large old ammo can (laid on its side) to my rear rack. Holds the battery and controller, and gives me a little 'trunk space' for tool kit, spare tube, air pump, bungees ..I gave this item a 5 star because it seems to be very well built, packaged, and all said items were in the package that the ad said. The BIG problem I do have is I contacted the seller and requested an XT90 connector be put on the battery and got a confirmation email stating that it would be however, it came with an XT60 which is not the size I needed. I also contacted the seller about a custom size (which it says they can do) and they told me the battery I wanted only came in the size that it showed in the listing. Now I have to cut the XT60 off and solder on the connector I need which is not easy!!!I really liked so much I bought two moreI've had the 52v 20ah battery for almost 4 months now. This thing just won't die. I have charged it many times. Now that the season here in New England is getting colder I'm not riding as much. But I have tested this battery with a voltage tester constantly and it's true to its guarantee. It always charges to 58.9 or 58.7 alternately but not any lower. My ebike has a dedicated slot under seat for factory battery and I use both alternating one as a backup. The only thing using two batteries is it adds a lot of weight and I am not a lightweight person but this battery powers me right along so I tend to use it as the main battery because it usually gets me to and from where I'm going. The factory battery - 48v I can tell is made with cheap batteries because it doesn't last long at all and doesn't give my hub motor the oomph the 52v does. My motor seems to sip the energy from this 52v battery so there's always plenty. I mount this battery on a luggage rack on the back of the bike. You'll find a way to get this on your e-bike somehow. While looking for other batteries I was tired of finding manufacturers with the plastic cases, I know this protects the batteries but it seems like it's an extra $150 for a fancy black case that slips into a charging cradle. Unit Pack Power gives you more battery at a lower price but you have to find a way to protect it. It's just wrapped in blue plastic shrink wrap. One good fall and I see this thing busting apart on the pavement. Put it in a bag with some padding (is what I did) or make your own plastic case. You will find a way. I opted for the xt60 connectors whereas my controller runs with these. If you email UPP they will put anderson, or xt90s and no extra charge. So for e-bike riders like myself we are looking for the maximum power and range at an acceptable price. If I remember I will update this review after 1 year.72v 20ah. Used to replace a SLA system on an electric scooter. It's a nice pack, heavy wire, well made charger aswell. It returns 30ish mile range on my Venom E-Vader with a 2000w drive system. Minus 1 star because it's still a little over priced.Received a bad charger, the replacement charger took a few days to get here, but it was better than the original. The battery is working great tooI got a couple of batteries from these guys. Batteries work great. No issues. They’ll even send an adapter for free. Great price compared to others out there. Very ez to install.
