This pole saw is exactly what a 40-year old needs to avoid aching shoulders from tree trimming chores.We had a big storm come through a few months ago. hubby had been dreading the clean up until this arrived.We looked for similar name brand units that Were sold out everywhere. when we came across this at a fraction of the price. To say that we were surprised by its power would be an understatement.He has been able to tackle branches up to 4 inches or so in diameter and at some pretty astonishing heights!This has saved us a ton of money on what we would have had to pay a tree service.It was easy to assemble, simply to operate and maneuver around with. it’s also very lightweight Considering it's size and maintenance free!!!the removable battery glides in and out smoothly and Recharges quickly (About an hour) and gets about 25 minutes of run time each.Overall, We are very pleased with this tool.I highly recommend!This is a neat idea I really do actually like it but it would be nice if the chain would stay on really gets kind of irritatingChapter 1- the box arrived. Not in good condition and it was missing the battery, the battery charger and the "blades that holds the chain saw chain. Called customer service and she (very helpful) said it would take two weeks for them to send the parts. She said to go through Amazon, return it and get another within a week.Chapter 2: New one arrives in a week. All the parts are there and appear well made (Won't say the same for how they pack it). Tried it out with the trimmer WORKS GREAT! Easy to use, extend, trims very well. Easily adjusts to different angles. Saved me from trying to get ladders in very difficult places or hang out in unsafe positions trying to reach that last section of the hedge. Haven't used the pole saw but it is much easier to maneuver than my electric pole saw (which I just gave away). So first impressions: recommended and 5 star!So the tool works fine. Its pretty cheap. Only problem is, they sell you a 2.0ah battery. A spare is 50 dollars.It works for about 10 minutes. SO the tool is 80$ the battery is 50$. Youll need 100$ in extra batteries. OR buy more of their tools that come with more batteries.The box will probably come destroyed. My first one was ripped apart, the battery fell out of the box.They sent me a new replacement without even requesting a return. 1 battery, 2 pole saws. LOLWorks good, just a little heavier than I like.As I had originally noted, the saw worked well at first, but developed a loud clicking sound and will hang up and squeal. I initially had trouble getting support from the company. However, I am happy to report that MAXLANDER contacted me, apologized for being hard to reach, and stated that they were working to improve their service. They sent me a new saw at no charge. I appreciate their efforts to make it right and improve their business.Works great, gets the job done well...but your arms will be killing you after! It's sooo heavy! Especially when fully extended.
