Summary: Previously reviewed quite a few ACOPOWER products (listed below). I have been using a small solar/PV system to reduce our electricity bill. Going to add this 100W poly panel to the other 120W mono panel (in series), to essentially double the power, and recharge a couple of marine AGM batteries. Adding this POLY 100W in series with the PowerECO 100W (see pic).Observations: At 100W, this is a very common panel size; which typically generates maximum power at 17-18 volts, and 6 amps. When combined in series, you are doubling the voltage, and can generally get away with running the same gauge (thickness) wire, where as in parallel, you normally would want to increase the wire size.Recommendation: Between poly and monocrystalline, poly costs less, but is also no more than 20% efficient, whereas mono is more expensive, but also is up to 23-24% efficiency. You can make a business case either way, but if you have limited roof space, then mono is the smaller foot print for amount of power generated. For this 100W panel, at $84, that's less than $1/watt ($0.84), where as a typical mono panel can cost between $1-2/watt ($100-200). As you can see in the picture, the POLY panel is noticeably larger than the MONO one (both are 100W).Company Info: I noticed that there are two info cards included, the instruction manual is ACOPOWER, and another flyer is from POWERECO. I suspected they were either sister companies, or one in the same. The address on both cards is the same, so they are most definitely related. In addition to ACOPOWER products, I have reviewed a few POWERECO products (all great)!Pros: Good fit & finish; dedicated solar company with a great track record; panel specifications listed on the back of the panel; serial number is on the box, as well as three faces of the panel (great for inventory control).Cons: Panel size specification on the Amazon page appears to be inconsistent; similar cost to the ACOPOWER MONO panel. Corners were a little sharp, so I dulled them with a metal file (see pic). Conclusion: At $85, rating this 5-stars. Consider the ACOPOWER listed below for $90 (recommend that panel instead if available).Related Products:ACOPOWER 100W All Black Mono Solar Panel, $90https://www.amazon.com/ACOPOWER-100W-Black-Solar-Panel/dp/B096K3Z5CMACOPOWER 120w 12v Portable Solar Panel, $375https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SYK2CNTACOPOWER Midas 40A MPPT Solar Charge Controller, $180https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HQB8RYKPowerECO 100w 12v Volts Monocrystalline ~ $176https://www.amazon.com/Powereco-Solar-Panel-Battery-Monocrystalline/product-reviews/B06XPMKP62
