?【Cordless and Connected-Ready Power】What can you do if you are not close to a wall outlet, or working in a tight, confined area? Going cordless is definitely a smart choice. Corded grinders are generally more robust, yet are noisier, and less versatile. KIMO has prepared this irreplaceably convenient cordless one with battery power for your quick job without getting extension cords out.Perfect Halloween gift for grandfather/ father/husband/boyfriend.

?【Maximum 9000 RPM & Ergonomic Design】9000 RPM motor provides higher power for grinding metal, and cutting tile, rebar and concrete. Rubberized and ergonomic 2-position grip handle increases comfort on the job for any workshop, service garage, auto repair, or home hobbyist.

?【Efficient Brushless Motor】KIMO angle grinder has a lot of standout features, but chief among them is the brushless motor. Thanks to the all-copper and premium magnet, the operation becomes more stable and smoother. Many professionals and DIYers are heading to brushless motor to enjoy the 53.5% longer runtime and much more efficient experience.

?【Proudly Present KIMO Li-ion Technology】For over 25 years, KIMO has made great progress in 1,000-Charging Cycle Test that guarantees each KIMO battery is more powerful, and lives longer than others. No worries about dying cells anymore. Go with KIMO, enjoy, and accomplish more than you ever expected.

?【20 Pcs Accessories】It is hard to determine market gimmick from the actual performance features that matter but KIMO hopes to help with that. A simple one-click order to get the most valuable tool kit, and let us prepare any accessories you need. Each Cut-Off Tool Kit comes with 10*Sandpaper; 2*Metal Cutting Wheel; 2*Grinding Wheel; 1*Wood Cutting Wheel; 1*Hook&Loop Backing Plate; 1*Carrying Bag; 1*Fast Charger; 1*Battery; and 1*Wrench.

Purchased the portable grinder and the ratchet last year and have only used the grinder three times. Last week the grinder stopped working and only has a clicking sound (the battery is fully charged). Tried to reach out to Kimo customer service several times via Amazon and they will not reply. If/when they respond I will update this review.comment with the outcome.**UPDATE 10/12/22 -- After leaving a review of one star Kimo finally responded to me and sent a replacement unit the next day. The replacement unit is currently working great. Updated review to four stars.**I took a chance on this grinder seeing as how it at least came with a charger and a 4.0 AH battery. Quality is on-par for "what it costs". For ~$110-120, it's performance is justified. I wouldn't call it a "beast" like other have, because it all depends how hard you use this grinder. Want to slice up 1/4" (6.4mm) thick mild steel? Sure it will do it, but then that will waste the battery fast. Same goes with any thick metal you want to cut. I sliced 1" thick rebar with it. Did it just fine. But it wasted 1/4 of the battery right there. See the thicker the material, the more battery power is wasted just from overcoming the friction of the sides of the wheel touching the part as the wheel is being fed in. So you're not just using battery power for the edge of wheel to cut, but extra battery power just for having the cutting wheel deep into the material. With a fresh battery, it is on-par with a 6A-7A corded grinder. One way to maximize the battery life (aside from not cutting thick materials constantly) is to use very coarse/abrasive cutting/grinding discs and flap discs. The coarser the grains on the abrasive, the faster they cut and the quicker you get in-n-out of the material. I use only 3M Cubitron II 0.045" cutting discs, and 1/4" grinding wheels. These are so abrasive, they will let you cut almost twice as fast as regular black cutting/grinding/flap discs. Same goes with 1/8" thick grinding discs. Forget about using 120+ Grit flap discs if you want to remove a lot of material. You will be wasting so much battery power just to overcome friction that you will run it dry in no time. When you turn it on, it has a soft-start which slowly accelerates the abrasive disc in about 3 seconds, which is a very good thing! This actually saves battery power! If a motor has to instantly turn a load, it consumes 4x as much power that split second. This is because the energy requires to create angular acceleration is proportional to the acceleration²! If it slowly accelerates it, there is much less energy loss even if it is for a slightly longer time! The only negative is that one of the clamp nuts (the one that gets tightened by the spanner wrench) was not bored/threaded correctly so it threaded onto the arbor shaft at an angle which cause the grinding/cutting wheel to wobble a good amount. I emailed KIMO and they are sending me a new clamping nut.The arbor shaft is NOT 5/8"-11, but rather it is M14x2.0mm metric thread. Not a big deal for me, because I only use abrasives with the 7/8" arbor hole anyways. It would be great if they included a short adapter to convert the threads to 5/8"-11 for those that need it.Overall the unit is very balanced, and the wheels/discs run pretty true, so there is no excessive vibration. Not any more than you would get with a $40-$50 corded angle grinder. The handle is pretty cheap, it is very short, and hollow. But hey, you can't get it all at such a low price!Overall for the price it's not bad if you only do small projects. This is not a Dewalt. You won't see contractors using this out in the field. It just won't have the battery life. Of course you could get a lot of extra batteries, and then you'd be OK, but that is your call. So small projects at home where you have no time-frame to get things done: absolutely. Using it to do heavy grinding/cutting/etc: You better order lots of extra batteries if you really need to do it all cordless. What Kimo really needs is to offer a super heavy duty 8.0 AH battery for less than $70, and then it would be worth of using it for real heavy duty use.The grinder worked very well. I've used it to grind off cement stumps and to cut cement backer board. very easy to use. The challenge was with Battery life. Grinders are intense power users, so have a large capacity battery on hand in order to keep up with the Job.Only issue was the locking button for releasing grinding wheelGreat grinder works really well nice case to keep it in! I have not charge the battery yet I do mechanical work professionally seems really goodcut offI received my KIMO 20V Brushless Cordless Angle Grinder today. First, very quick delivery time. I know Amazon has changed the market for delivery but not all of their products are delivered quickly. This product was, which I appreciated.I needed an angel grinder for various tasks around the house. I'm not a contractor, just a home handyman / DIY'er. When I was researching which model to buy there were of course the expected Milwaukee, DeWalt, and others. And I usually go with what the pros use. And many times I realize that I do not necessarily need with the pros use since I'm not a pro, just a regular DIY guy.I was not familiar with the KIMO brand and did some further reading. And this brand may very well be a pro caliber tool. Time will tell. Their products are being accepted by many and very good ratings. What caught my attention was all of the accessories that came with this model. I did a quick add and if I purchased one of the typical pro brands plus all of the accessories that came with the KIMO, it would have cost me a lot more. So I gave it a try. While I have not yet tackled a major job I did do a few tasks around the garage to see how it handled. I like this unit. It seems very well made, a sturdy design, and good features. I did not get the sense that this was a 'cut corners' type of product as off brands can be. It handles well in my hand, has good power with a 20v lithium battery. a nice carry bag and of course all of the accessories in the photo. I can see many uses for this other than just a cut off or grinding and I think this will take care of any task I have.So if you are a home DIY'er then I would recommend this KIMO.
